This is the final course of the program and the fourth of the professional cycle. It is aimed at students that have the B2.3 CEFR (Common European Framework) level. These students have a high-intermediate English level but need to continue honing their language skills to succeed in the field of International Relations.

This course, the last of the series, gives students the opportunity to further develop the four language skills, grammar and vocabulary, focusing on current issues in the field of International Relations. Through the analysis of academic articles, international literature, and films / documentaries, students learn the content and develop their communication skills on issues of high importance of the field.


3. RATIONALE

Proper management of an international language such as English is necessary so that a professional in International Relations can function in an increasingly globalized and multicultural society. The internationalization of the relations between the global communities has brought about challenges that every professional needs to face in order to be more competitive. Among those challenges is adopting a language that facilitates communication - both personally and professionally - with other cultures
