Descripción de la asignatura. Prepara al estudiante en el arte de la interpretación en su instrumento/canto. Se estudiará el repertorio pertinente a cada instrumento mediante el análisis de los aspectos técnicos, la interpretación y los elementos formales, estructurales e históricos. Esta asignatura tiene como requisito la presentación del estudiante cada semestre en el espacio Concierto de Estudiantes y cada dos semestres en el espacio Recital que representará una parte vital en la preparación y formación como artistas. Además, comprometerá más profundamente a los estudiantes con el estudio y elevará su nivel de responsabilidad y excelencia. Se le brindarán todos los espacios disponibles para darse a conocer dentro de la comunidad y ganar experiencia dentro del ámbito universitario. 3. Justificación. En esta asignatura el estudiante proyecta su quehacer profesional mediante el estudio detallado de todos los aspectos que atañen su instrumento. El estudio se enfoca en la técnica, la interpretación, la improvisación y los elementos de estilo. Estas herramientas básicas para la práctica profesional de un intérprete van asociadas a la búsqueda de una identidad mediante coloquios, talleres y conciertos. Además del estudio individual y colectivo, el estudiante se proyecta hacia el ejercicio profesional de la puesta en escena de su propuesta. 4. Objetivo general de la asignatura. Esta asignatura se orientará a: Proveer las condiciones para que el estudiante cuente con los fundamentos conceptuales y metodológicos necesarios para conocer, comprender, interpretar e improvisar obras del repertorio del Jazz y la música popular. 5. Resultados de Aprendizaje. Al finalizar la asignatura, los estudiantes deben estar en capacidad de: ● Dominar los elementos técnicos que le permiten al estudiante construir un sonido y plasmar sus ideas con fluidez en el repertorio. ● Interpretar obras del repertorio tanto del jazz como de la música popular, conservando los elementos estilísticos propios de cada género y época. ● Desarrollar improvisaciones de acuerdo al estilo, integrando correctamente la armonía y la estructura formal en las obras del repertorio escogido. ● Extraer los elementos estructurales e interpretativos implícitos en las transcripciones y audiciones que realice, que le permita enriquecer el estilo en cada obra que aborde. ● Interpretar obras del repertorio clásico con conciencia del estilo, la técnica, la textura y la estructura formal. ● Conocer la historia del jazz y la música popular asociándola a su repertorio. Construir un criterio que le permita delinear su mundo interno musical. 6. 2. Descripción de la asignatura.

Prepara al estudiante en el arte de la interpretación en su instrumento/canto.
Se estudiará el repertorio pertinente a cada instrumento mediante el análisis de los aspectos técnicos, la interpretación y los elementos formales, estructurales e históricos. Esta asignatura tiene como requisito la presentación del estudiante cada semestre en el espacio Concierto de Estudiantes y cada dos semestres en el espacio Recital que representará una parte vital en la preparación y formación como artistas. Además, comprometerá más profundamente a los estudiantes con el estudio y elevará su nivel de responsabilidad y excelencia. Se le brindarán todos los espacios disponibles para darse a conocer dentro de la comunidad y ganar experiencia dentro del ámbito universitario.

3. Justificación.
En esta asignatura el estudiante proyecta su quehacer profesional mediante el estudio detallado de todos los aspectos que atañen su instrumento. El estudio se enfoca en la técnica, la interpretación, la improvisación y los elementos de estilo. Estas herramientas básicas para la práctica profesional de un intérprete van asociadas a la búsqueda de una identidad mediante coloquios, talleres y conciertos. Además del estudio individual y colectivo, el estudiante se proyecta hacia el ejercicio profesional de la puesta en escena de su propuesta.

4. Objetivo general de la asignatura.

Esta asignatura se orientará a:

Proveer las condiciones para que el estudiante cuente con los fundamentos conceptuales y metodológicos necesarios para conocer, comprender, interpretar e improvisar obras del repertorio del Jazz y la música popular.

5. Resultados de Aprendizaje.

Al finalizar la asignatura, los estudiantes deben estar en capacidad de:

● Dominar los elementos técnicos que le permiten al estudiante construir un sonido y plasmar sus ideas con fluidez en el repertorio.
● Interpretar obras del repertorio tanto del jazz como de la música popular, conservando los elementos estilísticos propios de cada género y época.
● Desarrollar improvisaciones de acuerdo al estilo, integrando correctamente la armonía y la estructura formal en las obras del repertorio escogido.
● Extraer los elementos estructurales e interpretativos implícitos en las transcripciones y audiciones que realice, que le permita enriquecer el estilo en cada obra que aborde.
● Interpretar obras del repertorio clásico con conciencia del estilo, la técnica, la textura y la estructura formal.
● Conocer la historia del jazz y la música popular asociándola a su repertorio.
Construir un criterio que le permita delinear su mundo interno musical.
