In this course, the students are going to explore the most important regional integration agreements in the world including their history and the different stages until now; provides them the necessary elements to face the integrated world and also the different negotiation subjects in every integration level. 3. JUSTIFICATION One part of the strategic management is the capacity to face the world in movement. The international business students have to be capable to get the accurate strategies for the internationalization or their companies. To do this, the knowledge of regionalization is one of the main points in the decision making process thereupon the implication of them in the international business can make the difference between success or fail. 4. GENERAL OBJECTIVE To locate the student in the regional integration discussion, by studying the most important agreements, checking their beginnings, politics deepener, the nature of the agreements and the impact of them in the different members of the international community in general. 6. LEARNING OUTCOMES At the end of the course, students must be able to: Abilities (Applying concepts) Searching for border tax preferences for the members of the agreements Attitudes (As an individual) International vision Discipline Compliance with the schedule Research capabilities Communication skills in different languages. METHODOLOGY Active participation The course is taught through the active participation of the lecturer and students in class sessions. Strategies include the presentation of concepts and cases by the lecturer and the interaction of students. Practical exercises Depending on the nature of activities, some will be completed individually and others in groups in order to enhance the ability to work in teams and properly justify one’s opinion to fellow classmates. Oral discussions The adequate use of technical concepts will always be enhanced Virtual activities All students will have access to a web page of the course. Besides including teaching materials for them, they will participate in message boards throughout the semester. This will be the official channel between the teacher and the students to send all the tasks previously defined. 9.
